What does this mean?

There was a lion laying in a field, with a disgruntled disposition, that said "Do Not Disturb"
There was a walrus laying on a beach, with tusks in need of sharpening, and no will to return to sea

"i have no will to return"

  2. Well to be quite literal, it's very apathetic. Kind of like a picture of what this current generation should NOT be. But it definitely made me think.

And I think I gave you permission a while ago to write a song about that. In fact, I had even told you I would allow you to read the 7 page letter I wrote my dad, which one should feel very honored if one gets that kind of offer.

  4. It means you're fat, like a walrus. And no will to return, because you're too fat. And the lion looks disgruntled because the person tasted bad. The person who was stupid enough to try and put up a "do not disturb" sign by a lion.

I don't know, you challenge me to think creatively, I guess? I'm not quite sure if that's it or not...Keep writing, I'll let you know.

  8. So what does this really mean? Or did you never intend to know?

  9. There are alot of things it can mean... the question is what do you mean? Because the lion and the walrus are animals that have representations, but alot of different ones among different stories and legends and what not.... but I do like the thought of it being about apathy... if this wasnt written by Billy I might assume it has to do with someone feeling that God is absent from their life and the writer believes God is being apathetic...but I cant see Billy writing about that...so...idk...
